Any other mad doodlers on board? I haven't posted any big finished pieces lately, so I thought I'd throw some doodles on here. I frequently have to attend meetings at work, where I get a lot of doodling done!

Sometimes they are kind of abstract...

Illoman

DL, glad to see new art from you even if it's "just" a doodle!!  :D Those doodles could easily be framed!!

I've made it through a rough couple of months and have this to show for it:

Special thanks go to several people for this one: Big Swan for suggesting it in the first place, Creepy Kevin for giving me a copy of the film so I could be further inspired to finish it (long story), and Rahsaan Roland Kirk for musical inspiration when my muse was no where to be found.

Boris is 12"x16", oils on canvas board (what else?).

Thanks for looking!!

DL, those doodles are not fair to the common doodler like me!  Supercool!

Mike, once again - AWESOME!!

Boy, if I forget to check the art gallery for a few days...... I can hardly process all the amazing things I see! Illoman, your work makes my heart beat faster. It is so beautiful to look at and I hope someday  I can admire one of your paintings in my own home   :)
Everyone is so creative around here! From doodles to painting to stained glass and beyond...... I am so thankful that I get a chance to gaze at all these creations!
You all are exceptional artists and I thank you for sharing with us.

Mike, great work on the Karloff piece!  Love the lighting.
dl, I really enjoy the doodles! I spent most of my youth in church, school, and now professional development days doodling.

When I was a kid I liked Sea Hunt. Every Sunday, when I got the program print-out at church, it became great doodle fodder. I remember drawing little scuba divers swimming amongst the "ragged right justified" text, like it was a jagged coral reef. The droning preacher became background noise to my scribbling adventures. Wish I still had some of those.

I have got to visit this thread more often! I'm continually impressed by the amount of artistic talent we have here.

Monolith: that Creature drawing is wonderful. it has a real sense of mood to it.

Creature Features: love the stained glass -beautiful stuff.

Illoman: As always Mike, your paintings knock me out.

Awesome inking job! Sleek, decently stated linework. Very nice!
