Looking on Google and Amazon now it looks like it indeed has at least comes out in that Hammer Collection series since I did any great research on its availability on DVD.  That used to be one of the classics that wasn't on DVD for some reason (up till then).  The Hammer Collection was put out by Universal, so that is certainly legit.

I was so used to seeing it on our B&W TV (when I was younger) and in monster mag pics in B&W that it was kind of a shock to finally see it in color on TV years ago.  My first oil painting I ever did was of him and I painted him brown like 'normal' werewolves.  When I finally saw the film in color he looked so cool and that was another thing I loved!!!

I enjoyed checking out other Oliver Reed movies after that. I remember he was on David Letterman somewhat drunk and I thought he might hit Dave at some point. Looks like you can watch it on YouTube.  I'll never forget it because I was a fan and it was getting VERY hairy there and Dave was trying to defuse things, but Oliver wasn't 'getting' the spirit of any of the jokes or comments.  I felt bad for Dave.

Here's the Letterman interview. It was too painful for me to finish. Just torturous.

Wow...i had totally forgotten about this. I saw it when it first aired. I was hoping Reed might reflect back on Curse of the Werewolf a little but MAN, was i surprised! Absolutely BRUTAL!!

Here's a BLOOD OF THE DEMON original I did not get back (I only get a third of the original pages if I ink the actual pencils). If I had, I would have kept it.  I'm inking TEEN TITANS on 'bluelines' (the pencils printed in light non-photo blue on DC boards) and get to keep everything I ink. Though most collectors don't value 'bluelined inks' originals as highly as when we ink over the 'real' pencils.

It does save time (now that I am getting more of the hang of it...my first book this way) since my penciller lives in Australia!  Had to cave in and buy a Brother ALL-IN-ONE printer/scanner/fax/copier that will print Bristol board that size and has a large scanner (just $200 when Office Depot runs their sale).  I feel too old (56) to be learning lots of new stuff (and I had to switch to actual Photoshop...as opposed to PhotoDeluxe).  It was either that or lose out on some potential gigs.

Photoshop is awesome and I wish I were younger and had more time to learn what all you can do with it.  My niece was down from Arizona and it was kind of sickening how much she had taught herself just from online tutorials...young whippersnappers!!

I LOVE your work man! Really nice stuff! Do you do commissions at all? I love collecting original pop culture, movie, and horror art!
Do you like monsters? They're my only weakness...

It's great to see B&W shots of your inks without all that modern muddy computer color messing things up.   I thought you did a great job on Byrne -- tightening up his stuff and giving some really sweet line weights and textures.  So much better than his own inks.

Cool to see those Animal Man pages, too.  Chas is always a guest at the local comic cons here in the Twin Cities, so I see him about twice a year.
