Thanks everyone! The stained glass pieces were painted in photoshop. I was originally going to do them in the classic faux stained glass style where you go to Michael's Crafts and get some of the flexible stick on "led" and stick it onto the glass and then get the transparent glass paints and fill in the spaces almost like a paint by number. But the problem was that you can't get really detailed with that method and i wanted these things to look like real cathedral glass. So I found a few local place who print on clear plastic sheeting and one guy who can actually print right on glass and lexand. So I ended up painting all of them completely in photoshop and rather than just using them as templates I am getting them actually printed full size right on the glass panels and then just going in with the flexible faux "led" and sticking it on top to give it the dimension and feel of real stained glass. My family and I are building a new house right now and putting in a huge "hobby room" to do monster models in and the whole thing is being done up like an old transylvanian castle (stone wall, wood dungeon doors, the whole deal!) and we had them frame in little nitches above where the work bench is going sized and shaped specifically to fit these bad boy and there are lights going in behind them so that they light up as if daylight (or moonlight if we use the dimmer!) is coming in through them. I've never done this kind of print process before so I'm hoping them come out nice! I'll be sure to post pictures when I get them 100% done!

Hi all! Just noticed this page for artists and thought I'd share some of my latest work on here. i had posted up another thread in a different section not knowing this one was here!

The Bates Family Portrait

This is some stained glass that I did based on the aurora covers of james bama. I'm going to have these printed onto glass and then put some faux "led" on top and then back-light them.

I love the stained glass!

Greg,
Let me just say the London after Midnight figure and the stained glass pieces are off the chart!  Amazing work.  Hey, our church is in the process of having stained glass windows installed and I was thinking...Naw! I guess that wouldn't work...:) ;D

Do you ever sell or do trades or anything with your pieces or prints of them? I always love really cool unique pieces of horror and pop culture art. In the new house I'm building now I am putting in an art gallery (I call it The Night Gallery!) just to display horror, sci-fi, and just general pop culture art. Some of the work going into it is my own but I always love (an prefer) work from other artists too!

Here's my first attempt at sculpting. I did it last weekend with one of my friends. He brought over a pound of sculpey and we split it. I did a figure from one of my favorite horror movies- Tombs of the Blind Dead. Hope you guys like him.

Crazy am I? We'll see if I'm crazy or not!
