My newest piece made from Crayola Air-dry clay- Till I can order more marblex. (this week, hopefully)

I plan on painting him, then glueing on some faux fur for his beard, shoulders and head, and I'm making a necklace of tiny human skulls for a necklace.

I love ot make monsters. When I have a dearth of material, I don't just stay with clay. I also make monsters from Pom-poms.



Even a pompom who's pure acrylic fur and says his prayers by night....

The forgotten craft from Castelmare.
Made from pipecleaner, a styrofoam ball, fake eyes , and felt. Construction took less than an hour.

Started working on this 6 months ago, took a 5 month break & just finished him up.  My 12" Custom Figure:

THE EVIL OF FRANKENSTEIN










The pics are rather dark, but then again, so was the dungeon I shot this in.  I made the clothes myself - a first for me!  An old sock I had laying around, cut up, hot glued & darkened with acrylic paint.  Don't know how to sew!  Head, hands & boots are made of Sculpey.  I glued some fake hair on his ol' blockhead.  Hope ypu like The Kiwi Kreature!

I commented on this in the Modern Monster Toys section before I saw it here.  I really like the figure he's my favorite Hammer creature...hmmm, well maybe Frankenstein Created Woman is in first place.  Anyway, it looks great, good job!

Here's a new cartoon I did for the Svengoolie YahooGroup. He's airing the Joan Crawford classic "Strait-Jacket" this Thanksgiving weekend . . . so this came pretty easily.

Here's a bust of Chris Lee as Dracula that I finished today.  I wanted to do a sculpt of Lee in Dracula 1972 A.D. where he gets staked with the spokes of a wagon wheel.  I intend to do a sculpt of Cushing as Van Helsing holding the wagon wheel.  I work on these sculpts during my planning periods at school and I love talking to the kids about the monsters and their movies.  By the way, this is the first one I've fired that didn't explode in the kiln.  I finally figured out that I needed to hollow out the thick base (Duh!).
