Here are pictures of a couple of posters that would have been used in hobby shops to advertise the Hawk Weird-Oh model kits:

If I had the chance and this helmet, I would wear it at my job.

Quote from: GAKENSTEIN on January 07, 2011, 02:22:15 PMMy brothers and I had small (approx. (9x12x3) vinyl brief cases with Weird-Ohs colorfully printed on the top.  I remember a yellow one, a red one, and possibly a black one.  They were cool as hell.

So then here are some good pics of the wild, crazy cool SPP Weird-Ohs Daddy carrying case:

Ideal for school or office use!

I keep marveling at how well the sculpts of the Marx Weird-Ohs conform to the Hawk Weird-Ohs box art drawn by Bill Campbell:

Meanwhile the sculpts for the Hawk Weird-Ohs were sadly not really good reproductions of the box illustrations:

Here's a book by Mark Cantrell that's a must for Hawk Weird-Oh fans:

A Weird-Oh World: The Art of Bill Campbell is devoted to the artwork of the designer and inventor of the Weird-Ohs, artist Bill Campbell who was responsible for most of Hawk's box art from the mid 1950's to 1965.

And here's a cool promo clip for the book:

Round2 issued a series of Hawk Weird-Ohs on skateboards figures in 2008:

Magnetism was employed to make the figures stand on the skateboards.

Overall they're very cool and well worth collecting! Despite several inquiries though, I've been unable to determine why/how the numbering of this series extends into the dozens. After all, Hawk originally issued only twelve Weird-Oh kits, five Silly Surfer kits and four Frantic kits.

Are these the Taco Bell figures?

No they are not. What Taco Bell gave away in 2010 with Kid's Meals was four different Weird-Ohs skateboards each of which came with twelve different Weird-Ohs stickers:

No figures though. Still, I'm getting hungry for tacos!

Tacos with Weird-Oh skateboards is a tough combination to beat. You'd have to go to something like the Topps Monster Tatoos with bubble gum to even get close:
