Well, my granddaughter arrived last night and couldn't wait to show me her "witch" costume - a good witch, she stressed!  She & Grandma Lizzie went to Borders Books for a kids party this morning, while I stayed home & watched THE BOWERY BOYS MEET THE MONSTERS.  They returned about 1 pm to pick me up.  We went to the El Rodeo restaurant & then off to Walgreen's to pick up some candy & Swisher Sweets for the Halloween Smoke-Off Celebratiion tomorrow night.  I'm back home while Grannie & Autumn go trick or treating at the Tippecanoe Mall, then trick or treating in neighborhoods!  Lafayette & W. Lafayette's TOT schedule is Friday, Saturday & Sunday with NO set hours!!!  If we're not too tired, we might go to the Howl-A-Thon later this evening to hear the wolves howl & enjoy their goodie-filled pumpkins.  It takes place at the Wolf Park in Battle Ground.  We're very lucky to have this place so close to us.  It's only about 15-20 minutes away.  If you like wolves, check this out:  http://www.wolfpark.org/

Unfortunately I've been attending workshops all this weekend - so generally it looks like my holiday will suck this year.

Though, I hope my clients will appreciate what I have been learning in the Battlefield Acupuncture workshops.  It's great for pain relief.

Looks like I'll be missing this Monster Bash! - Maybe in 2016 : (

Maybe I'll see you all at Mid-Atlantic Nostalgia Festival.

I was in a haunted house show tonight. While playing, I came up with the idea of guzzling mountain dew from a plastic beaker, then begin choking and snarling and effect a Hyde transformation. My first time, I went totally bezerk and slammed a table, destroying my beaker. But I sent the crowd scattering LOL! My wife and I worked out a battle of sorts between the Invisible woman and Mr. Hyde.  Very effective, especially since I was the guide up to then

I attended a Halloween-themed burlesque show last night. "Grim Reaper's Peep Show" was a real treat!

Last night was cool, me and my guitarist/friend went up to my old bass player's house who we're still close with for a party.

He lives in the middle of the woods waaaaay out in the sticks. It's where used to practice when we 1st got started.

Theres a broken down old shack that has a tree fallen through it on his property....he ran an extension cord and threw orange and black lights all over the outside of it. Had a few kegs and a DJ set up in his living room.

A nice party with alot of guys and girls I havent seen in awhile...I didn't go crazy with a costume, I left from band practice so my old leather jacket that still has spiked lapels and Misfits patches on it...my skeleton gloves, and I threw on my very old Collegeville Phantom Of The Opera mask and proceeded to drink way too much.

Fun stuff.

My sister-in-law and her hubbie came ot my party as the 2 protagonists in BLACULA to my party last night.  They may have been the unofficial winners of the best costume title.  You gotta come as characters in a movie and nobody seays who they are until they put their movie in and then we all see the scene with the characters in duplicated outfits.

I'm going to watch Vincent Price tonight   >:D

That was quick!

Just past 8:00, and almost out of treats--went through 50 treat bags that we made up, and another 50 or so "backup" treats. Full dark now, 35 degrees, and a mix of rain and snow coming down, so not expecting many more kids.

Monster Bob

By watching Lawrence Welk's 1975 Halloween Special, of course.

Monster Bob

*and unbelievably enough, one of the singers is doing a number dressed as Frankenstein- and is wearing one of Fred Gwynne's Herman Munster jackets!

The Welk Halloween shows are worth watching, just to spot old rental costumes and horror props they used. Don Post masks, too...

OMG- Monster Bob! I was watching that last night!  And it was strange!  What about the witches with the blacked-out teeth? haha But the Frankenstein took the cake! I also was amused when the dancers danced with people from the audience-and they looked sooooo happy!

Monster Bob

It was quite a show and a hoot to watch. Bobby and Sissy's dancing devils bit took the cake.

I can't remember the name of the song they were dancing to, but their costumes were super lame! That poor man had to wear that devil nightgown!

Halloween here was actually last night. All the locals around just decided it was more conveinient to do everything saturday night.

We had out Ghostbuster ectomobile parked along the street downtown, with us both in out ghostbuster gear, where they were doing a safe trick r treat event, and were seriously overwhelmed!

Within 45 mnutes, we were out of candy, so we started giving the kids our ghostbuster business cards, which they seemed to covet even more that candy. We both had been kneeling down for little kids, but after a while we could hardly get up any longer. I'd say we easily saw 1000 people, and probably about 400 kids! I couldn't even tell you how many pics we posed for, but at one point, it was about 1 a minute, because we had a huge line of people waiting.

After that, we capped the evening with a club hallweenb contest (which we didn't even place in), but the music was 80's and the band was great, and even better, we managed to keep a booth the whole time, so we didn't have to wear our gear the entire night.

We exhausted ourselves so much, we were wiped out today. We slept till noon, at dusk cruised around the trick r treating neighborhoods with our "Ecto" playing ghostbuster music and the siren, and then finally settled down to a relaxing evening at home watching supernatural, Halloween H20, and Shaun of the Dead.

It was VERY odd not to actually be doing halloween things the night of, but we had plenty of fun this season already, and we both really needed the relaxation.

I celebrated Halloween by taking this group of kids trick-or-treating last evening. It was a lot of fun. And a lot of work trying to keep up with them in running door to door.
