Probably forgot to fling poo that day.  As far as brain matter goes, don't sell yourself short.  Your as bright an ape as Dr. Zaius.  And you know I love my Dr. Zaius.  Just fling more poo, you'll loose that 3.

Your back hair grew in again.  If UP flosses, he loses 3 lbs.  We all have our 'things'.

Good grief Sean! You are one lucky dude!

I started as a sophomore in a big time rivalry game the next afternoon.  Basketball.  It was the 1st time the PA announcer introduced me before tip off  ON THE ROAD.  My face was all cut up.  I think my appearance horrified the home crowd.   ::)

OK, Gary.  If I am recalling YOUR journey correctly, you're 5'11"-ish and had gone from 244 lbs to roughly 220-221-----but are now perhaps in the 224 lb area?

If so, you are now fighting the battle I am close to starting myself, as you have lost that big chunk---and your weight is now at a similar (to mine) number of pounds over the upper limit  of your recommended BMI-based weight range.

That's where the game gets tougher.  Good luck to us both, bro. 8)

Yeah, I'm bouncing up and down within a small range. Screwed up the Achilles tendon on my left leg exercising, so it's gotten to be slow going while I heal.

Yes.  I've been there before.  Getting the body dinged up training is frustrating---and the only thing to do is rest and just deal with the tacking on of a few pounds.  I refer to that 'bouncing up and down within a small range' as 'my body being at war at the 220-225 lb level', etc.------but you keep plugging away and that '220-225' war will become a '217-222' war and so on.  It's funny.  Sometimes I get stuck and then BAM!  a 2-3 lb loss comes.  You gotta keep tricking your body--------and that includes varying calories, which sometimes calls for you to eat MORE calories some days.  Our bodies are honed fat-storage machines.  They are designed to hold onto calories should our mammoth hunt run dry for a week or so.   ;)  Keep at it.

OK, April 1st weigh-in was a little disappointing... 254.  That's still down 2 lbs from last month, so at least this thing is moving in the right direction.  I'm setting my sights on the '240s' for May 1st.  We'll see.  I get a blood test done mid-month.  Wish me luck.

Keep going guys, you're doing great. Sean, you know sometimes you hit a plateau and it just takes a bit of time for the metabolism to kick in. Best of luck to you and UP.

Yeah, I'm scrapping a bit here, Karen.  I'll get it going.
