GREAT NEW INFORMATION!  Thanks for sharing.

I always love to get the back story on the toys' production histories.

I sure would have liked to get the Seargent Schultz doll for a friend.  Great likenesses on all the Hogan's Heroes dolls.

Hey Guys -

Thanks for all the feedback on my first post.

I came across a posting I wanted to share with you guys.

It seems that my translucent LBH's were part of a un-released "Millenium Edition"
and
the Assorted Frankie's were part of an un-released "Premiums" set.

Here are some pics, and details:

wow those are awesome, oh i am drooling over the multiple colors of the wolfman...just awesome
even a woman who is pure of heart....well you know the rest..

Uh, I'll have that glow Creature, please.

Those translucent millennium LBH would look great next to some Luminators!!

On the Applause figures mentioned earlier here is a pic of the Dracula along with the previously posted Frankenstein and Mummy~

Applause was also responsible for these little plush monsters at the same time, interesting because this set contained a Wolfman but to my knowledge the bobblehead set did not~

Applause also made these coffee mugs which didn't include a Wolfman; again at least not to my knowledge since I bought all of this Applause stuff at the same time at the same store~

And of course while were on the subject of translucent monsters!

As far as I know the only other LBH mass produced as a translucent figure was the Metaluna Mutant in blue!

Reading thru that post on the Sideshow board I saw that darkmonkeygod was asking about the 8" Series 2 in glow; I don't believe these were ever produced and until I see one in someone's collection or a MIP one on Ebay no one will ever convince me otherwise!!  I was (like most of us) collecting all of Sideshow's stuff around that time and never saw these for sale, it wasn't 'til several years later that they suddenly popped up on Sideshow's retired list that I'd even heard of them.  I inquired to Sideshow about them and never did get a definitive answer on these figures.

Here is an unopened 8 in. Frank:

Here is a false color catalog image of the only 3 that were released:

They just were a re-release of the initial 3 figures (Series 1) without any accessories.  They came out shortly after the Silver Screen issues.

I never saw any Series 2 glow figures.

Just a personal story about the Little Big Heads...back in the summer of '99 when my then-fiancee and I were planning our wedding we were struggling with what we wanted for our wedding cake. Since the wedding date was October 31st, we wanted to do something "seasonal". We ended up deciding on a tombstone shaped cake and used Frankenstein & Bride Little Big Heads instead of the traditional bride & groom figurines.

Awesome Lbl!! Can you post some pics?? I'm sure I'm not alone in saying I'd love to see a bit of the Monster Wedding!

Monsters For Sale

Some eBay auctions just ended for Little Big Head figures from the Millennium rainbow issues.  All but one of the seven single-color auctions went for basically the same sale price.  (Notice there is an additional horror figure we have not seen here before.)

Did one of our members win these?

Opinions on the price?

Here is a link to one of the completed auctions:

I agree completely with your complete agreement with Moonshadow.

My, but I'm terribly agreeable today. Let's hope it passes quickly.  :o
