I'll have to look him up, I wonder if this is an old video of him?   I love minimalist music also- especially Phillip Glass!

It's from 92, I believe
"They come from the bowels of hell; a transformed race of walking dead. Zombies, guided by a master plan for complete domination of the Earth."

Oh Wow, I just looked him up and found out that he is no longer alive. Hmmmmm, and it said he was the founder of The Church O' Satan. No wonder I've never heard of him, he's been gone a long time. Well I still think he's a talented musician, so I would watch a doc about him if it was on tv    :)     I like errybody!

My sometimes scorned tastes include:
serious old county, I was a weekend classic country DJ for a bout two years. I think everyone here needs to get some of Porter Wagoner's great morbid murder records like "The Cold Hard Facts of Life." I got to meet Roy Clark recently and it was a thrill to discuss his record of "Spooky Movies", as in the lyric "Maah baby loves spooky, spooky movies. Booooo oooo ahahahah."
Teen 45 - Roy Clark Spooky Movies

I also like classic bubblegum, as I was around 10 when the Partridge Family hit, the three CD set of classic bubblegum on Varese Saraband is in my car deck.

I have enjoyed the two opera's I saw live, "Die Walkurie" and Mozart's "The Magic Flute."

I have all 5 Leonard Nimoy's "signing albums and they have a strange appeal.

When you work in a record store for 17 years you have broad eclectic tastes., from Joan Jett to Prokofiev, from Bill Monroe to Paul Williams.
My music is for Phoenix. Only she can sing it. Anyone else who tries, dies.

Wow, working in a record store sounds like a dream job!  Thanks for the Roy Clark song, I'm gonna try to get it on Itunes for my Halloween party since I have a brother who recently has taken an interest in Mr. Clark.  My daughter saw Die Walkurie in Chicago last year and said it was the best opera she had ever seen. I think she said it was 4 hours or so.  There's really no music I won't listen to except for maybe "new" country type music. It's so boring and the songs all sound alike to me, plus I live in Ga. where it is mandatory for everyone to play it as loud as they can in their cars!  It sounds like mish-mosh when you hear it blasting out of someone's truck!  :)  Anyways- I would love to listen to music all day long. I usually have something playing when I'm home and in the car, but wouldn't it be wonderful to set every activity to music?  Like sporting events? I would watch football if it was set to music !

Ever since I heard this song from Final Fantasy VII, I fell in love with the amazing artist:
Angela Aki - Kiss Me Good-Bye

Angela Aki

Unknown Primate

I have been sort of obsessed with this.  I saw her on "The Graham Norton Show".  That's TWO admissions that I never thought I would share with anybody!!  Please forgive me...  I'm sick..  And my wife doesn't know about this...

Warning: some possibly offensive lanquage.

Opera Ghost

Ok, She's hot and sexy. Tune is catchy and the lyrics are hilarious!

what's not to like!
"In each of us, two natures are at war--the good and the evil. All our lives the fight goes on between them, and one of them must conquer..."

Unknown Primate

I forced myself to watch the video over & over...  and it grew...  on me.
