- Dead of Night

A Dan Curtis trilogy. The first two episodes are weak, but the third one "Bobby" is frightening. I saw it when I was maybe 5 or 6 on a Saturday afternoon. I had nightmares for weeks. I saw again recently and it still held up.

Involves black magic, demons and terror.
"For one who has lived but a single lifetime, you are a wise man ...Van Helsing."
"I shall awaken memories of love and crime and death..."

BlackLagoon

Anything that remotely involves Rod Serling!

Having said that, when I think of "TV" and "horror" I just default to Twilight Zone....but because we are talking just horror here, I gotta leave that out.

Instead I go with Night Gallery...an episode in particular called "Pamela's Voice".

If that isn't a few minutes of creepy, made for tv story telling---I don't know what is!
"I send my murdergram to all the monster kids, it comes right back to me, signed in their parents blood"

Unknown Primate

I'm sure you all remember Dan Curtis' TRILOGY OF TERROR, especially the 3rd tale, " PREY ".

If you don't mind some Sci-Fi Cheese. I LOVED Killdozer. I wish they would come out with a legit version of this. I have it on plain DVD-R that was burned of TV

Big Clint Walker!  Man, haven't seen that movie in 30 years!!
" Perhaps he dimly wonders why, there is no other such as I. "

Dr.Teufel Geist

I might get some boo's for this one..."Scream of the Wolf" with Walker and Graves...

It starts out as a werewolf type of movie, then takes a giant twist, which some fans take offensive to.
I liked it...it was very creepy, and you were on the edge of yer seat, cause ya wanted to see the werewolf...
Then, BLAM!! what the heck...I know, Iknow...but it is still a good tv-movie.

Hey, I love SCREAM OF THE WOLF, too, Doc!  And it was a Dan Curtis Production, also!  Curtis was the man in the 70's!  Also enjoyed MOON OF THE WOLF with David Janssen, although the werewolf make-up wasn't so great, it was still a good movie.

I have Moon of the Wolf on dvd...got it for a dollar some time back at Walmart, love that film..
I always thought the werewolf paid homage to The Wolfman...(he still wore shirt and pants)

Scatter...good thread...you got me where I cant stop posting movies I have seen and loved...is there a limit?  ;D

Not sure if this movie was a TV movie or Theater, but "Grizzly" is an awesome killer bear movie, he stands at 15' and nothing stops this beast from killing...
Coolest part...was the Bear swiping the horse's head clean off....

Richard Jayekll (however you say his name) stars in it..

This is a must see movie!!....

NO LIMITS DOC!! I'm eating it up!! And the movies don't have to be MADE for TV, just stuff you saw on TV when you were a kid that made an impression on you.

Loved Night Gallery Jess..........for me, superior to TZ.

Haven't seen Grizzly in 30 years. Man I want to though!

Moon of The Wolf ROCKED!! But then I love David Janssen in anything.

Never saw Scream Of The Wolf. Another one for the list!

Trilogy Of Terror?? Man, that Zuni doll was AWESOME!

Anybody ever see "Whatever Happened To Aunt Alice" (1969). Geraldine Page plays a murderous matriarch who keeps killing her servants and burying them under newly planted pine trees in her yard to collect their money. Next victim?? The awesome Ruth Gordon. Will she make it out alive?? Tune in to find out!! A great thriller!!

I also have Crowhaven Farm and Satan's School for Girls. I enjoy any creepy witch/ghost/supernatural TV movie from that era.

Ah!!!!! Killdozer!!!! Another Classick.
"They come from the bowels of hell; a transformed race of walking dead. Zombies, guided by a master plan for complete domination of the Earth."

Paul L

Dan Curtis is perhaps the king of television spook, bar none.

And I was going to mention Moon of the Wolf, good call!

Scream Pretty Peggy
Bad Ronald
Killer Bees
Haunts of the Very Rich
Where Have All the People Gone?

And quite a few disaster type movies.

- 'Salem's Lot

The best TV vampire movie. Make sure it's the 3 hour miniseries.

Man, that was frightening!
