Sitting here at work, I've forgotten about THE GREAT RACE, one of the funniest films I've ever seen!! Certainly Blake Edwards best, this side of the Pink Panther series, & TC's greatest hit in my book.

What Mike said. The later goofy guy on talk shows with the worse-than-Shatner wig, kinda obsured the fact that the man was actually a damn good actor (check out BOSTON STRANGLER some time.)

HOUDINI was one of my favorites, too--add SPARTACUS and THE VIKINGS and WINCHESTER '73 and of course the tremendous SOME LIKE IT HOT.  There weren't many genres of film Tony Curtis didn't add his talents to--he even dabbled in the weird and sci-fi area with THE MANITOU and BRAINWAVES.  I heard him say in an interview that whether or not he got recognition in the film world, he surely had a great time!  And you gave US a great time, over and over, Tony.  Thank you.

He was one of the first actors I remember from my childhood. Charisma and talent. Thank you Great Leslie! Thank you Stony Curtis! Thank you Josephine! You'll be missed!
