Hammer Horror: new collectibles: Busts by Titan Merchandise

Diamond Comics released their supply this week. The supplier here in Oz had them about two weeks ago I think. Alas, mine are at work, and I'm on sick leave, else I'd be delighted to bring you detailed pics.

If you don't mind me asking, what movies are these images from? I know the rest, but these are new to me.

I've seen these busts in the Entertainment Earth catalog, and they look very nice. The likenesses on them are very well done, particularly the Cushing. I'd rather have seen Ingrid as Carmilla myself, but....

The top one is Yutte Stensgaard from LUST FOR A VAMPIRE [the second Carmilla story, after VAMPIRE LOVERS].
The bottom one is from PLAGUE OF THE ZOMBIES.

Thanks! I knew there were sequels to VAMPIRE LOVERS, but I've yet to see them.

Well, in hand pics are surfacing. The paint apps on these are terrible. Cushing's eyes make him look mentally challenged. All this waiting and crud paints. Huzzah. . I am gonna be stuck getting Van Helsing and Dracula because I pre-ordered them 2 years ago from my lcs......but I won't be buying anymore until they get a decent Chinese factory to paint them a little better than this.

Wow, that is a shame. I've noticed many of DC Direct's offerings have slipped in the paint dept. too. Everyone is going for the cheapest labor, and this is what you get. Terrible service to a great sculpt.

Yep, I'm already getting numerous requests from my client base who ordered these for
complete repaints. They say the sculpts are great but the paint jobs look like 3rd graders
painted them, etc. They're not too happy.

Its a mauve-a-lous mauve.

It is very disappointing if you look at the pic on the front of the box and then the actual piece. I was going to get these but think I may pass now

So glad I didn't order an Ingrid Pitt. I'd have been very disappointed to have this sculpt ruined by a subpar paint job.
