Just bought the auto. Also got the photo I want to frame it with. My favorite auto to date. Here's a rundown of my autos:

P.J. Soles
Linda Blair
Kyra Schon
Bill Mumy
Terry O'Quinn
Jill Schoelen
John Jarrett
Basil Gogos
Kevin McCarthy
Fred Gwynne

I will be adding Nick Castle next month. I still want to get John Carpenter & Lon Chaney Jr. The Chaney auto is a (distant) future project.

JP
Forgot one. I plan on adding Ben Chapman at some point. Would have loved to have met him in person. Gotta have the Creature in my collection.

Thanks.

Nope. Just ordered them from eBay sellers. I was already collecting autographed trading cards from the Hammer and Twilight Zone sets and thought I would hunt up cards for the two actors who played my favorite monster. I did see Ben Chapman once in person at a toy show in Knoxville TN but like an idiot I got sidetracked and never did get an autographed photo. He's gone now and it's too late. I like the card but I sure wish I had an personalized photo to hang on the wall. Do important things when they're handy 'cause if you wait you may be SOL.

For what its worth, I spelled Jarrett wrong. Should be Jarratt. Sent to me straight from Australia.

Hey JP, congrats on the Fred Gwynne auto. That will look real nice framed with a Herman photo.

The autograph thread doesn't have very much traffic these days does it JP? Mario used to show some truly stunning stuff here...as did others. sadly, I think Facebook has dwindled our little forum down. :'(

That's okay. I thought I'd make light of the situation. Not really upset, just having some fun. Thanks Anton.

I agree, Anton, I don't really post much on here anymore.  I'm kind of a lurker.  I still collect autographs, but not as many anymore.

Jp where did you get the Terry O'Quinn at?

He has a site at fanMailbiz where you can send an item to be signed, along with a SASE, and he'll sign and return it free of charge. I sent him a poster of The Stepfather. Just be patient, it took close to two months to arrive back.

Creepy

I recently watched The Haunting and on a whim sent a picture to Claire Bloom and requested an autograph. She was very kind, autographed the picture, and quickly sent it back to me.

The trick was that she lives in England so I had to have a friend in London, purchase return postage, send me the postage so that I could include a SASE. It was a fun hunt.
