Definitely not monster-related, but this made my day!! Frederick Buechner is hands down my all time favorite author. He writes several kinds of literature, but two of my favorites are Godric and Brendan, both historical fiction based on the lives of those men. The way he wrote them just makes you "feel" like you are in the middle ages. I sent an autograph request via his publisher months ago, and this arrived today:

Sweet Mike, it's alway fun to get something cool in the mail besides bills.

I may have missed it, but I have not seen a James Whale signature.  I don't think I have ever seen a James Whale signature...???

As far as James Whale- I've seen only one. I aquired it from a friend, for a friend. I had it in my possession a few days. Pretty neat....

I've been a fan of Michael Gilbert's Mr. Monster for years. I just added this to my collection today:

It came with a book entitled "Mr. Monster: Origins".

I have a few things, true.  But all pale in comparison to the massive assortment of signed items in your ensemble.  BTW, check this out:

It's really sad that it takes an actor's passing to make people pay out the dough like this.  I got mine from Gary Svehla for $20 just before Quarry died. $20 vs. $225.  I'll take the $20 one please. 8)

Here's my $20 one: same photo, just signed in a different place and sans the "Count Yorga"
