Get out the fireworks so we can celebrate,
The Limericks were started by that reprobate,
Packy 300 pages ago on a whim,
So we have to blame someone him,
For these long years at this going rate.

Happy 300th to all the members of the Limerick thread whether they be living or undead.

Usually while walking home I use a bit of a trot,
Pass the graveyards or some other creepy spot,
Thinking that some body snatcher is lurking,
Ready to pounce with his hand Burkeing,
Burke and Hare and their new friend Mike Scott.

There once was a vampire from Cathay.
Who really wanted to move to Bombay.
He asked a boffin
To ship his coffin
Which customs opened on a midsummer's day.

I've been scratching my dual head,
Wondering about the king of the thread,
Who would win this precious honour,
As I've seen his name on the banner,
It's Baron Tim with 300 pages read.

There once was a gremlin named Brooke.
Her face looked just like a snook.
One day at dawn,
She had her spawn.
Both are too ugly. Do not look!

There once was a Werewolf named Dwight,
Who would goad other monsters to fight,
Then during a duel,
He was killed by a Ghoul,
For his bark was much worse than his bite!

Now that my inflated head feels all swell,
The Baron made me proud where I dwell,
I remember Meek aka Linda the librarian,
Unknown primate aka Mark the libertarian,
Gone but not forgotten and that's swell.

I toast them all our absent friends including Sean and others who have gone to that monster filled paradise. CHEERS and thanks for your company.

The creepy old crone has returned.
And all in our town are concerned.
She is more scary,
Than crazy Mary.
We pray that our fears are unearned.
