Who is your favorite characters to grace the serial screen?

Crimson Ghost gets my vote...(Misfits chose a great mascot!)--A gangster with a great mask and firepower a plenty!
Just a great bad guy all around.

On a side note, some of those "action sequences" are pretty...hardcore. I mean for it's time I doubt they were stunt doubles. Check out some of the fight scenes...you'll know what I mean!

The robot from The Phantom Creeps.
Been trying for nearly a decade to untangle who has the rights to that/him.

He appeared in Rob Zombie music video and also on the back of the Hellbilly Deluxe cd...I dunno if that helps at all?

Saw the RZ stuff, he's animated in El Superbeasto as well, but no luck on the rights issue.
Kind of moot now.

So many to choose from but I would say my favorite is Captain Marvel (Tom Tyler) from The Adventures of Captain Marvel (my favorite serial) Other favorites are Ming The Merciless (Charles Middleton) from Flash Gordon , Zorro from Zorros Fighting Legion (I just finished this one, really good!) and any character that Bela Lugosi played in a serial.

"Flint, give them their orders!" I also like the Crimson ghost however King of the rocketmen is my favorite. I wrote to Tristram Coffin during the eighties and got a very nice reply with a signed photo.
