Guys, more help needed....

I see Boris Karloff with a 3-button jacket as the monster.  Did Strange wear that as well?  Or did Strange wear a 2-button jacket?  Thank you in advance.

I googled some pics of Glenn Strange as the Monster, and imo... it seems to be a 3 button.

Love the avatar, Doc.  I think Karloff had his buttoned up in Frankenstein... maybe he had it unbuttoned in The Bride of Frank?  Strange seems to have his jacket unbuttoned always... maybe that's why it's harder for me to account for them-------but 3 buttons makes sense.

I will look around and see if I can find some good pics of Strange, where one can see the buttons.

Thanks, this will be my avatar til Halloween is over.  ;D

I was wrong, it's two buttons...

this second pic is a statue...

Sean

Geez.  I SWEAR I've seen Karloff in 3 buttons.  Now I gotta look more! :-\

Fester

I think the rule is two buttons until labor Day, then three after. ;D

Fester,
That only applies if the buttons are white.

Never could get those things right.

Thats why Mrs Fester always said, "I can dress you up, but I can't take you out." ::)

Fester, Aunt Fester can't take you anywhere because pj's with a beer in one hand is not exactly formal wear.

Not even if I button up the flap all the way?

Sheesh!  All these fashion rules . . . .

Good News, the wife says the white after Labor day is out of date thinking
"In each of us, two natures are at war--the good and the evil. All our lives the fight goes on between them, and one of them must conquer..."

I guess you'll have to button up the front flap.  Aunt Fester will be mad when all the girls go after you!   ;D  ;)
Laura ::) ::) ::) ::) ::)

Fester

Oh, she's got a padlock on the front flap.

I was thinking about the square one in back. ::)

Sean

The mystery that has been vexing EVERYONE  ::)......... is solved.

It's a 3 button jacket that only looks like a 2 button jacket because Karloff only fastened the MIDDLE button.
