Just did a major dusting in our living room and thought i'd take a pic while everything is nice and clean. Just so happens my favorite episode of King of Queens was on at the same time. Very appropriate in that this is the one where Doug tries to reclaim one of his favorite childhood toys [ a Mentalo fortune telling toy] for Christmas.

Beautiful & bright room-Gasport! Your collection looks so cool and fancy     I have black shelves in my monster room....so it's dust city! I really wish I had lighter colored shelves like yours. But I can't help but wonder why my monster collection is dustier than any other items in my whole house?? Weird!

Thanks Charp, but like Mike said, after a couple of days the dust and cobwebs will begin to set in AGAIN! I don't dust often enough [it took me like 4 HOURS to do what you see here] but i do enjoy doing the big pieces like Great Garloo and King Zor. Takes me right back to my childhood when i first tore them out of their boxes examined them from head to toe!

Me and the wife are slowly redoing our monster room one piece at a time! We had a counter top and some chair behind our couch for people to sit at during movie nights, but no one ever sat there so we decided to get rid of it and replace it with some new lighted display cabinets. We picked up the display cases at Hobby Lobby and then I wired up some strips of LED lights and a 12 volt rechargeable battery to power them and then did custom artwork for the 2 sides. It allowed us to take a lot of pieces we had in storage out and made room for a lot of new pieces we have picked up and/or made recently. I was finally able to make a space for my King Zor and cleared a space for our new Pumpkinhead to live (he guards the mini-fridge!) We are going to replace some of the shelving units with bigger ones that can hold more stuff and we are going to make some custom furniture to replace our current couch and give us more seating (I also starting drawing up designs for a Creature inspired coffee table!)
