Adam, I love EVERYTHING in your room. Love the green furniture! You're truly an original. It gives all of us here hope that someone so young (and talented) appreciates the classic monsters especially our beloved Creature. Thanks for sharing your treasures with us.

Very nice, love the retro decor. All you need now is a tiki bar!

Man, I LOVE that retro decor my friend!! That's what Nancy and I eventually want to do in our bedroom. Still looking for that rotary dial phone and old school alarm clock if anyone has them to sell!!

Awesome man cave!!

DAMN, KK! If i had a room like that i'd lock myself in and NEVER come out! Beautiful job...the stuff retro monster dreams are made of. You've inspired me to take some pics of my [much less organized] backyard studio where i teach guitar. Yesterday i finally committed myself to doing a LONG OVERDUE major dusting and cleaning. Takes a good two hours to systematically go around the whole room. I have a few glass sealed showcases and cabinets, but the majority of my stuff is exposed to dust and requires hand cleaning. DEFINITELY the down side to collecting! I always get a kick out of when a new guitar student enters and sees it for the first time. Some people literally squeal with delight and others doubt my sanity. [they're not alone!] Oh well, hope you all enjoy...

I can't believe that room KK--Amazing

I keep coming back to look at it.............LOVE IT!! Know what it needs?? One of those old console stereo systems with the AM/FM/8 track/turntable. That would look SWEET in there.

I think that is sitting right below the TV!

Where would the turntable go?? The top can't lift up with the TV on top. I think it's just a cabinet. If it IS a cabinet ES, I wanna see inside!!

Actually, at second glance, not a console, but perhaps a dresser?

Now that is classy.  It doesn't even need monsters, which is saying something!

Gasport:

You and that room make sweet music together! I like the way you mix other cool collectibles such as Quisp and the Give-a-Show-Projector in with your monsters.

Collecting! It's what I do!

Thanks Hep! Yes, it's truly a diverse bunch of ''stuff''. Looks more like a ''Where's Waldo'' puzzle than anything else! I really do enjoy seeing people's reactions to it all...sometimes i end up spending more time talking  about my stuff than i do teaching guitar! The Give A Show set was given to me recently from one of my guitar students who dug it out of a dumpster [!!] when he noticed a neighbor who was moving throwing out a bunch of his stuff . It's all there , too- the projector and all the slides! There was also a big stack of original Beatles trading cards he gave me about to suffer the same fate... AMAZING!

Mike, I'm in AWE of your collection brother. And I LOVE the cabinet for your TV. Is that an actual shell to an old console TV, or a retro cabinet made to look old school?? And, is that a vintage or new MEGO Batman there??
