Thanks Morkai for giving me a glimpse into the world of Spanish horror collecting.  There are definitely some cool things I've never seen before.  And that is a cool shot of you (?) and Paul Naschy.

MMM, Paul Naschy is like God for the HorrorManiacs in Spain, but there are not toys, I only know a Model Kit from the movie "Licántropo, el asesino de la luna llena" but is very rare and hard to find. I have all his Horror Movies and some posters, one is singed by the own Naschy. I also have the recent comic book based in "El retorno del Hombre Lobo" movie, but nothing more.
Paul Naschy must have his own action figure, I hope someday...

The sequel to the Dark Crystal is slated for (I think) a 2009 release. Everyone involved with the original film are working in the same capacities for this one, except of course for dear Jim. In his directorial stead, they have hired Genndy Tartakovsky, he of Samurai Jack, Dexter's Laboratory, etc. Brian Froud is back for designs/conceptual work, Trevor Jones for the score, the voice actors for Aughra, Jen, Kira, etc... everybody's on board. Might be incredibly cool. It's one of my favorite films, always will be, so I would love to see how they follow it up.

That's if they ever get it off the ground. No one ever seems to have a definitive answer when/if this is coming out. The latest rumor I heard is a DTV release which while i'll still buy/enjoy, I really want to see it on the big screen...

Dr.Terror, sure King Diamond Rules!!! I love Metal music, and King Diamond is one of my favourites.

King Diamond rules, but Merciful Fate reigned supreme! I was a big metal head in my day. Slayer, Venom, Possessed, Exodus, etc. were all part of my music library in the late 80s. I was a head banger myself. I played in a band called Vile. We made it as far as being featured in Creem Metal magazine as well as a nice gig with Wendy O Williams at First Avenue here in Mpls. Almost snagged a deal with Metal Blade records too. Then I went and got married. Done. Game over.  ;D

Nice collection BTW Mokai!

Dr.Terror

"Don't Break the Oath", one hell on an album.
Morning, noon, or night, Anytime . . . . the count may strike. If you're caught you have to linger, Cause Dracula may bite your finger!

The Phantom Creep

The first two Mercyful Fate and the first couple of King Diamond albums are awesome.

Terry you actually played a show with Wendy O?  W.O.W. !!
You have any photos?

I did indeed. My band Vile was the warm up act. We also played with the Misfits. Unfortunately, I don't have any pics, but I think some of my old friends do. I'll have to go see what I can come up with. I know there's some pics out there that I wouldn't dare share! I'm talking about pics that could yield a lot of blackmail power should they fall into the wrong hands.  ;D

Great to see a lot of people here is or was Metalhead!!!
Of course, Mercyful Fate likes me too!!! I have seen 3 times and other 3 times to King Diamond. The last show was great!!!
My favourite Mercyful Fate's album is: "Don't Break the Oath" and my favourite King Diamond is: "The Eye", I prefer King Diamond, because is more theatral and the lyrics concepts are more near to Horror/Ghost Stories... etc. I prefer the sories in King Diamond Lyrics.
Terry and Wendy Williams!!!!!! GREAT!!! hehehe. Your musical tastes was great!!! Expecially love Possessed :) But my favourites of all the times are Bathory :)

Wendy O! Haven't heard that name in a while. Not sure I could find it, but I used to have a photo of an illustration I did of her promoting a friend's record store. He had her sign it at one of her concerts.

For those who enjoy with the Super Monstruos card Set, here is the rare trading-card collection in which were based later the Super Monstruos cards. The number 31 called "El carroñero" was almost impossible to find and those who get it, can trade in the shop or in the place where bought the cards for a Monster T Shirt, a space vehicle, a Robot or several more things, depends the city and the area.
Here is a pic of a boy that in the years 80's get "The Carroñero" and changed it for this cool shirt...

And here is the complete set.

Monstruos Diabolicos was the most rare and hard to find collection of Monster Cards. There were 2 collections, the first one was form the earlies 80's and the second Re-edition was from the latests 80, earlys 90's. There were the same cards.

Those cards are great! I love the artwork! The Darth Vader and ET cards are hysterical...

Yes, hehehe, the number 21 is the Langdon Zombie, here called "La Máscara". The authors of these "cromos" (Cromos is the word that we used here to said trading cards) have copy from every place. This collection rules!!! I remember when I was a child in the 80's, all the kids were crazy for these cromos.
