Are those Creature push-puppets I see?  Wow!  If so,  I never knew they existed.

Terrific picture! I love the way you've got them displayed, especially the lighting. Helps to set that spooky mood.

I don't have a set-up monster "museum" yet because I'm adding another room. So what I have now is a BIG mess. Actually, items are packed away to be displayed later -I hope I live long enough to finish this  ;D

I don't collect masks in general because I find them too fragile. They seem to break down over time and I know little of preservation. However, my favorite monster, hands down, is the Glen Strange Frankenstein monster. So I made an exception to mask collecting and have been trying to aquire Don Post G.S. examples. Here in the pic (excuse the mess) is a '63 Don Post pull (haired and painted), the '63 hands, and my latest addition...a 60s calendar mask pull, haired and painted. (I hung the 1966 calendar mask image next to it to compare). Eventually, these items will display with my '99 calendar issue. All Glenn Strange. :)
Enjoy,
Richard

Great collection, KreatureKid!

And Richard, if you're gonna narrow it down to one character...  you picked what I think is the best one too.  That mask and hands are just amazing!

Great masks, Richard, but I also like that especially crisp-looking Monsterizer box.  The Penn Plax Creature box looks pretty minty, too.  Heck, everything in that photo looks sweet.

Great stuff Richard!! I'm looking forward to you getting that room done and posting your monster collection in all its glory.

Question..........why Glenn Strange rather than one of the other Frankie incarnations?? I'm always interested in why folks gravitate to a certain monster or monster actor.

Beautiful masks, Richard.  Glenn is my fave, too.  I love the finish work on your calendar mask - do you know who painted and haired it?

Gasport

GREAT collection, Richard! Yes, i agree Karloff was King, but Glen Strange is more the iconic image us old school monster kids relate to best. I also did a similar display using an old gutted out TV like you. I recently inserted a little 12" TV inside of it, so when you turn off all the lights, it's kinda like having the original old set back in operation... Keep up the "Strange" work!

Nice collection Richard!  Same here on the delay of the monster room.  Have not had time or money to build shelves.

Also, I think you need to send that Penn-Plax Creature my way, it looks out of place in your collection!    :D
