Great displays all.

Man, I LOVE those old masks and vinyl costumes...and those boxes!
I only have the Ben Cooper Mummy (Kharis) mask and costume in box.  LOVE that blue box with the glow in the dark Monsters...AND a couple of Frankenstein faces from the same set.  No box, no costumes...just the mask.  They are colored differently, (one lighter and greenish yellow, and the other dark green.)

Thanks for sharing those everyone!  Keep it up!
Rest in Peace,

Terry,

Great collection.  On the shelf with the Lil Abner stuff--what's the figures next to the Talos?  One looks like a centaur. Not sure about the others.

Rob

The centaur (with female rider) is a garage kit sculpted by former Disney sculptor Jack Hood (produced by son Raven) -- brought home from an early Wonderfest.  One of these days I might actually get around to painting the thing. "The Devil's Apprentice" is a garage kit as well.  The female figure with upraised arm is "Cylena, Queen of the Night" -- it's a cold cast porcelain figure made by the long gone kit company, Screamin'. There's also a little Julius Caesar  figure and a small scale copy of the Venus De Milo.

It's not actually in my monster room, but the gillman has taken up residence in my living room fish tank..

Is that pic taken at the rehearsals of Universal Studios' new singin', dancin' CREATURE musical?  :P

Rob, wish you had shown us a photo closer to the surface of the water so we could see the tiny Julie Adams swimming up there above the Gill Man!  This is very cool--it brings to mind other possibilities--tiny overturned cars in a tarantula cage, for instance, or a little workmen's "cage" with mini people in it, lowered halfway down in a tank with pet scorpions!

I am inspired by this thread to set up my own monster room (right now its basically a horror room), one important question!!!!

Where can I find that large stone backdrop that some of you guys have? It would be an awesome start to line my walls with it! Any help is MUCH appreciated!!

That's exactly who I had in mind.  Couldn't for the life of me remember the name of them.  Was going to get to Michael's this weekend to check.  Thanks six shooter!

I'm amazed that anyone has any room for wallpaper but it would be cool.
