Earth 2 Chris

We got the Jakks figures for my son a few years back, and he still plays with them to this day. Well, now he has them set up on his book shelf with his Revell/Aurora reissue kits, but he got a LOT of play out of them, particularly the Wolf Man. The swappable Larry Talbot parts were ingenious.

That's awesome!  Imagine that - toys for KIDS!

But what if they go and remove them from the packaging and play with them?

I only have the Jakks Wolfman and I love it! I wish i had gotten Frankenstein and Dracula too, but I missed them. I did however buy one of the individually packaged Wolf Man figures so i could use it for the Larry Talbot parts. Well I pretty much have my Monster room set up to my liking. I won't be able to get shelves for awhile, so I set up figures on the floor all around the walls of the room, on windowsills, anywheres! it looks like a Monster Party with lots of mingling (and mangling) guests! I have a slew of pics so I'll be posting them several at a time:here's the first installment.

The gap between the Horizon Dracula and Billiken Mummy will be filled by the Horizon Phantom when I build him. Notice also an original Mark Stamper, our very own resident Sasquatch Unknown Primate, artwork of Popoca the Aztec Mummy behind Frankenstein.

Once I redo the Billiken 1962 Godzilla he will go here with his Kong counterpart to make a King Kong vs Godzilla themed section with the Billikens, large Imperial/Universal Theme Park figures and the 9 inch scale marmit and Bullmark figures

WOWWWWWW!  Mike - I love looking at everyone's collections, but I must say, yours might just be my favorite.  I mean, man - Majin, Santo, every dang Kaiju there is and I even thought I saw Reptilicus (or something very much like him).  Monstrously awesome and eclectic stuff, dude.  And MOVIES!!!!  You should be proud of your ultimate Monster Room, bro!  I'd get dizzy just being in there!

RedKing, you've got to be the biggest collector of Kaiju I've ever seen.  Mind blowing....even saw a Yog figure.  The Universal and Kaiju is great, but topping it off with Three Stooges merchandice as well......the King part of your title fits.  Your collection even brought to mind a beloved show from my past, The Space Giants ( love that Goldar figure).

Definitely a wonderful collection.  I always liked the presentation of putting the toys in front of books or movies.  They served almost as a back drop for the figures.  Unfortunately due to limited shelf space here, I had to abandon that set up because there's barely enough space for the stuff itself.
