Sounds like a cool book Doc!  I voted for the second tittle since it is the beginning of a three part series you said.

That's correct..this will be a Hunters trilogy....Book 2 is being prepared with lots of discussion and notes, and how far we want to expand it...The Title has been chosen and agreed upon, this second book will definitely be a MALE THRILL RIDE with lots of ACTION/FIGHTING.

the Third book will go back to the beginning of where it all started....

Alright..playtime is over for me, back to work...

I hit a snag in the book, decided to change of the characters, which to me was becoming too powerful(my fault, I wrote it that way)
So I did a huge 180 and re-wrote the character again, so I had to dump quite a few pages into the trash...
which is okay, cause I hammered out the character's new speciality...but, I need to go finish it up now...
I left off in a huge fight(had to take a break)...

Writing about fighting can be SO exhausting.

yes it can...cause I would like to do each fight scene, but there is so many(fighters vs the monster) right now, so I had to kinda just have
two fight scenes, then end with the "after the dust settled" type of thing..

So I just wrapped up the Samurai vs Werewolf fight...
I still have a little catching up to do, before I get back to the story(that we are working on right now)

But, the creative juices are flowing once again, and I am having a wonderful time writing this new Speciality of the character..

Agggggh!  I can hardly wait to read this book!  I would love to spend one day in a  creative person's shoes. How awesome it must be to have all these characters' lives in your hands   :)

And it really helps that I played D&D back in the day to, because several of my D&D Characters have cameos in the book.
What's hard is, trying not to use stuff that has been done too much...I am always telling my co-writer, to think outta the box.  8)
He is the true master storyteller with his details...I am the guy with lots of ideas swarming in my mind, and he helps me to put it in words
that will grab the reader and make them not want to put the book down.

We are still shooting for the end of the year as the deadline(so to speak) of Book One.

The best Scripts come from true experiences.

Alright, I finished the re-write again, yes that's right..I re-wrote a major storyline twice...but, I like where it's at now.

Tonight, the creative juices flowed like necter of the gods...I wrote a good storyline for the main bad guy, actually still writing on it..just taking a break.

Everything on my half is still going great...

However, my friend has slowed down due to School and Work...

But, still pushing for the end of the year to be, Book One done.

Update: Me and the co-writer(Ben) who is only 16 and lives with his folks(under their roof) who are very strict on what he watches or writes.
We have decided to not publish the first book, until we finish the trilogy..
The reason? if we publish the first book, it's very likely we wont be able to write the other two, once his parents see or read the first one.
So, we decided to wait til we finish all 3 books before we try to publish anything...so, that means you have to wait longer now.

We have been working on the 1st book for a year now, so that means, it will probally be two more years before we are done with the trilogy, which is good, because he will be 18 then and if we decide to work on more books, we will be able to.
He said he was moving out when he turns 18...

Book1 is coming to a closing soon, we are very close to the Epic War between the Hunters and the lead Vampire.
Book2 is in talks, and will be a 360* turn from the first one....the Brothers will be sent into another Dimension(Apocolyptic world)
Book2 promises alot of Action, from Melee to Guns....and for the 1st time we will see a major breakdown from one of the brothers who has seen enuff killing.

Perhaps some UMA-ers might be able to give a test read, and feedback?  ;D

Awwwww man......I guess I'll have to wait.  But it better be in the next couple years like you said, because I'm not getting any younger and you'll have to put mine on a cd- with you reading it aloud, of course. Don't hire someone with a "radio" type voice to do the book on cd, I want to hear what it's supposed to sound like.  Wow....I've become a demanding old broad! See Doc, I told you I was getting old!    :)    Just kidding- I look forward to your book and to all the good things the future holds!

yes..which doesn't make sense, seeing how they own Lord of the Rings movies and books.
It's really more of the Mother who disapproves of her son writing Fantasy Horror, because it isn't "Right"...and not too mention, I am such a "Bad influence" as well.

Yes..there are still narrow-minded people among us.  ;D

They believe D&D is of the Devil and dont want their son around it... and basically our book is pretty much D&D related...
Fantasy creatures,monsters, and weapons...

But, like I said....they have a problem with D&D, but own LOTR movies and books(which was the basis for D&D in the first place)
