Job lay-off has compelled me to put a box of my beloved Sideshow monsters (Series 1 & 2) on eBay. These are the first six figures (Frank, Mummy, Wolfie, Bride, Phantom & Creech) to be released by Sideshow back in 1998-1999. They are still in their original bubble cards (and, in fact, also come in an original Sideshow factory case carton-- although I repacked it to include 1 of each figure from Series 1 & 2 instead of 2 figures each from either single Series). These were old store stock that I bought from a store owner in Texas about 8 years ago. This is a true auction beginning at .99 and no reserve, so it will be whatever the current market will bear. I hope they will find "good" homes with appreciative Monstuh Kids...

Sorry about the Job Layoff Tabonga. Seemed like things might be getting better there for awhile. Hopefully the situation will bring bigger and better things to you. I am watching your auction and I have been selling some UM styff myself for the last coupla months (yeah, I'm a newbie- kinda' just a hobby at this point). I'm hoping that I get the winning bid for your lot but may the highest bid win for you. They wouldn't be in better hands. I know what its like to give up something so precious.
To give you an idea here are current selling prices from what I've observed over the last coupla' months on ebay (and I HAVE been obsessed lately):
Wolfman $25-$35
Frank=$25-$40
Creature=$25-$65
The other 3 are roughly in the $10 range
For some reason, it seems bids have dropped considerably within the last month or so. I'm wondering if there are alot more people losing work or (on a happier note) maybe it's just the spring.
By the way FANTASTIC GRAPHICS! You must be in graphic arts? My ebay name is UniversalMonsterAuctions, a fellow Ohioan. Good luck with your selling and all the best to you and yours....

Thanks, Dr., for the kind sentiments.

I will be going into a job training program next week for two months -- no pay but a chance for this "old dog" to maybe learn a "new job trick."

Yes, I used to be in graphics -- but a long time ago, in the analog (pre-digital) days of keylines & pasteups.  I'm just a Fred Flintsone in a Jetsons world, I guess.
