I think the artist's name is Thomas Beckstrom. This was on exhibit in a North Hollywood Gallery show recently. I believe it is 1:1 scale, but could be larger. But it is spectacular. David J. Schow took this photo. If I can find the others, I'll post them as well. It is spectacular!

It is perfection. The artist is Dennis Beckstrom. The guy who recently brought you the perfect Halloween mask(not the Horror Santum mask- the one that came before)
Anyway, he is a protege of Henry Alvarez.
On top of that, he's a wonderful guy.

Dr.Terror

Wow, such emotion!! i hope they do more than just Bronze. I'd love to see him painted up.
Morning, noon, or night, Anytime . . . . the count may strike. If you're caught you have to linger, Cause Dracula may bite your finger!

Yes, Dennis Beckstrom is a professional.  His stuff is in high demand and is high priced, but top of the line stuff.

His work is amazing! Thanks for sharing that Frank!  Is David Schow a member here?

First, thanks Danny, for correcting me on this talented guy's first name!

I do have other angles, so as I said I'll try to post them soon.

No Brian, message boards make David Schow uncomfortable! But he occasionally passes on info or photos (like this one) for me to post.

Here are some more of Beckstrom's bronzes:

You can find these and other examples of his work at Henry Alvarez's site: http://www.alvarezwaxmodels.com/alv%20frameset.htm

For some reason, I don't seem to be able to link you to specific pages at this site so you're going to have to take a bit of a tour to find Dennis' sculpts. It is, however, a tour eminently worth taking. Check, in particular, the Galleries for "Bronze Art".
