Was it a dream??

Ok fellow monster kids I need your help.I don't no if this was a dream or if there really was such a play set? When I was young I believe I had a monster play set which consisted of a castle,Frankenstein,Dracula,Wolfman,etc.I believe it was put out by the Marx company?
Dose anyone remember something like this or did I just dream it??? :-\

What decade are we talking about? There was the Mego castle for the 8" Mego monsters in the '70s. The Remco mini monsters, in the '80s, had a case that looked like a lab, or somethin', but not a castle.

This would have been late 1950's early 60's as I'll be 59 in a few weeks.

There was this, but unfortunately it was only a prototype and never released. Stuff dreams are made of.

Thats very close to what I'm talking about but the main figures were like a white rubber material
except for the Mummy which was grey.
The more I think about this the more real it seems.

Also,do you have any idea why they didn't release the one pictured above?

According to Playset Magazine, the Marx prototype was considered for release during the year 1965. Apparently, Marx had reservations about the longevity of the monster craze and decided it wasn't worth the risk to go forward with production. From a business standpoint, the decision was probably a wise one as both the Munsters and the Addam's Family were off the air the following year.
