Just wondering which spy show from the `60's you UMA members liked best.  For me it is Man From U.N.C.L.E.    I watched this faithfully growing up.

Hardest poll yet!
I loved (almost) all these shows-

I'll go with 'The Prisoner'
w/'The Avengers' (Emma Peel era) a very close second &
'The Man From U.N.C.L.E' in third-

Just got the U.N.C.L.E. DVD box set for Father's Day, btw, very cool!  ;D

Monster Bob

HONEY WEST by a long shot, followed closely by GET SMART.

THE PRISONER was OK, MAN FROM U.N.C.L.E. I wanted to like, but was kind of, I don't know, dull. Especially Napoleon Solo.

Oh I so love THE PRISONER and have to pick it out of that wonderful selection.  All of those 60s spy shows were good.  They're even better now knowing more about the people involved and how shows work.

I went with THE AVENGERS. John Steed & Emma Peel were just great together, and dealt with some of the most bizarre threats ever seen on TV..plus all those amazing guest-stars from UK movies and television mad it seem like a who's who of entertainment. Peter Cushing, Christopher Lee, Michael Gough, Barbara Shelley, Jon Pertwee, Nicholas Courtney, Burt Kwouk, Bernard Horsfall, Phillip Madoc,  Peter Wyngarde, Roger Delgado..etc.. all showed up on here at one time or another. Great stuff..plus Diana Rigg was no shrinking violet, as Mrs.Peel she could hold her own with the guys and then some.
DARK SHADOWS:

David Collins: "Dead people dont just get up and walk around.."

Sarah Collins: "Sometimes they do."

They're all good, but it's no contest: Mission Impossible! No matter how crazy the predicament, I'm still on the edge of my seat when I watch it.
"Well friends, that's all there is to life: just a little laugh, a little tear." - Prof. Echo (Lon Chaney, Sr.)

Dr.Teufel Geist

Some good ones here, but I had to go with two of my favorite spys/secret agents,
James West and Artimus Gordon.

I always like Get Smart.  And his shoephone.
