I guess it's a matter of preference. I have had a thing for vampire goth girls for over 25 years. Still do. My kid has at last count between face and ears I think 10,and she's a manager at a computer store. I have 6 ear piercings myself. Artwork and piercings are so common it's unreal. 10 years ago I made people veer away from me,think I was a wrestler or a biker/jail bird etc.. Now I have old ladies ask about them in the super mart checkout. My wife has 1 pc a 4" square tiger cub bust with a BIG paw on her calf. I'll agree that I don't want to see a female with a demons in hell back piece but a full thigh of colorful floral designs looks very good IMO. If we could afford it the wife would have one.

I think like anything its just how its done and how you carry yourself. I have a friend who is a hairstylist and is absolutely gorgeous. She has the slightest outline of a this very soft, feminine design on the inside of her wrist...she rocks and the ink is great.

I have seen women that have jail house tats on their arm, who have hearts and roses bled out on their breast and shoulder blade and thought to myself...geez, thats uhhhh...pretty bad.

Theres a woman who cashiers at Target that is just a mess, and she has some unledgable bled out ink on the side of her neck...it looks horrible. There is a girl at my gym that has a small Arabic design in the same spot and I think her artwork is great....the point is, one of them carries and presents themselves a certain way...ironically the one that has a bit more pride in herself is the same girl who obviously went to a reputable place to get her artwork done.

If it is tasteful, and feminine...and that can be anything from the Grim Reaper to a heart with angels wings...I think its great. Bad artwork, a crappy tattoo ....is just that!

I see what yer saying Black Lagoon.....let me put it in my geek terms....If they carry themselves off as Dhalish or Wild Elves instead of Mountain Dwarven Barbarians..
