NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Former NFL quarterback Steve McNair was shot multiple times, including once in the head, and a pistol was discovered near the body of the 20-year-old woman found dead with him Saturday in a downtown condominium.

Nashville police spokesman Don Aaron identified the woman as Sahel Kazemi, whom he called a "friend" of McNair's. She had a single gunshot wound to the head.

My wife just told me about this. I was very surprised. I remember him as the Quarterback for the Tennessee Titans. Man, the cemetary just won't stay quiet. A lot of folks are quite young to be gone. Tragic.

Sadly, it has now been officially ruled a Murder/Suicide and he was killed by his 20 year old mistress. What a shame that he had to pay the ultimate price. He is survived by his wife and four sons.

Yeah, she shot him 4 times while he was asleep, and then took her own life.
Reason for killing him, she believed he had another mistress, besides her.

In all seriousness, no judgement on the guy, but it's a good case for monogamy. We've all read, or have known of similar events all too often.

RIP Steve..love and prayers out to the family. I will NEVER forget that final drive he put together against the Rams in the Super Bowl. Amazing stuff.
