This is the only time I've ever announced an unconfirmed death. I can't find comfirmation anywhere but my source - and you'll have to trust me on this one - is impeccable. So if the source is wrong, I will apologize profusely and never trust them again. Till then, they have never been wrong.

UPDATE: I did speak to a talent agent who works - in some areas of the biz - with Mr. Wells, who assures me that he is very much alive. So I don't know. I don't talk to my agent all that often so I guess he could be mistaken but so could I. If I am wrong, I can't apologize enough for the grief I've caused you guys. I would never deliberately do that to you. I guess time will tell but let me start apologizing now, just in case.

Hey all,
There's a rumor going around on this wonderful 'internet' thingie, that I met my maker yesterday.
Lies! Fabrications, I tell you!

I did just have knee surgery and it hurts -- but it's a hell of a lot better than the rumors the surgery morphed into, eh?
Now, get back to work and I'll see you in the movies, which I look forward to making for many years to come!

Cinemacabre: Now, I wrote, days ago, to that website and everyone who supposedly works for him (Talent Agencies, etc.) and NOBODY got back to me. I am so happy to hear this good news and - once again - sorry to my UMA brothers and sisters for getting it wrong. As I said before, for the first time I trusted one source and that will never happen again. I've never been happier at being wrong, in my 53 years!!!
