How many Irwin Allen fans do we have out there? I know I'm a fan. I remember being fascinated with Land Of The Giants as well as Lost In Space. Unfortunately, most of this stuff doesn't hold up too well as an adult unless your in the mood for lighthearted fare. Let's face it, the majority of Irwin

Allen's material was geared towards young adults if not children. I guess it depends what era of Allen material it is that your viewing. His earlier stuff wasn't nearly as camp as his later material. Still, what's not to love about a giant carrot creature?

The Time Tunnel was produced in 1966. As a child, I don't ever remember seeing this television show. And what a shame too. This first episode was a blast! I thoroughly enjoyed watching it without ever losing interest. There were very little "kiddie ingredients" this time around (at least in this debut episode). If you haven't ever seen the Time Tunnel, this is a great place to start! Watch as James Darren and Robert Colbert end up on the deck of the Titanic! Too cool! Also keep your eye open for an appearance from Micheal Rennie (Day The Earth Stood Still) as the captain of the Titanic.

Ah! "Time Tunnel" had  great signature theme music---I can hear it now ticking away inside my head. Hmmmmn, talk about a memory rush---for a while "Land of the Giants", "Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea" and "Time Tunnel" saturated ABC evening viewing.
What I always liked was when both main characters in "Time Tunnel" would helplessly go arse-over-tea kettle in slow motion through the warp of time and then land "THUD!" where ever.

That was great.  I've wanted to watch that show again for years.  Thanks!

I'm sorry, but whenever I hear them say "Tic Toc" I think of the school of watch repair ol' Tic Toc Tech mentioned frequently on "Rocky & Bullwinkle" and "Super Chicken"--and I just love those little name badges that say "Tic Toc" that they have to wear.
