I say to you does this look like the worst movie of all time?

Plan 9 from Outer Space Trailer

Looks pretty good to me.

This film is one of my all time faves! Edward D. Wood jr. was a genius. Four in half Saucers out of five. :)

I saw the film in it's entirely for the first time on TCM the other day.  It's stupid, bad wooden formal dialogue, ropey production, stiff acting but it's not the worst.  It isn't racist propaganda, it's not an exploitation film, it's not a toy commercial you pay to watch and it's not a franchise place holder.  It's entertaining despite itself.
The script comes across as like it was written by a 12 year old but it's not a kids movie.  Strange movie and not professional but not the worst.

What race is Godzilla? Reptile?  ;D

Yes. The movie may lead people to conclude that all reptiles are prone to senseless vandalism, at least when they visit Japan.

This film is badly shot, poorly acted, but was in all honesty, was the same message from "The Day the Earth Stood Still". Other worlds are concerned about mankind entering the space race, because of the war like nature of man kind. I've never seen "Robot Monster", but from what I've read about that film, that may actually be a much worse film than "Plan Nine".
What ever happened to my Transylvania Twist?

Like I always say about the pre-porno Ed Wood filmography: the acting's bad, the dialogue is unintentionally funny, the production value is lacking... but the sheer incompetence of the whole thing makes it the stuff of legend. There's never a dull moment.

Sounds like the kind of flick that wins an Oscar or some other Hollywood award these days.

I wonder how many plans in total they actually had. And why jump to 9? Were 1 thru 8 all worse ideas? They decided on 9 and someone's responsible!

Wrong thread. This one's about a movie. Comments about Congressmen belong elsewhere.

Plans 1-8 will be in a soon to be released special DVD box set.
