He was a wonderful Conan artist too, working for over 50 years. I always thought it was interesting that he was related to Frank Frazetta. I met him once at the San Diego Con when he and several other fantasy artists were all releasing card sets. They each signed an uncut sheet of cards for me which is one of the trading card collectibles I cherish.

Prolific indeed.  Very sad news. As with being related to Frazetta, wasn't he married to a daughter of his?  I had a few Ken Kelly's in my time, wish I still had them, but I kept the one I really liked the most, the cover art to the paperback "Friends of the Horseclans II",  the piece is huge.
