Downloaded a movie? I would never do such a thing.

For the record, I don't own a DVD player (nor a video cassette deck). There'd be no point since I don't have a working TV. When my TV set went on the blink back in 1992, I decided to wait for them to perfect the technology before replacing it. I'm still waiting. That of course also enabled me to cut out the monthly payments for cable TV which had crept upward annoyingly over the years. I watched TV so sparingly, maybe two to three hours a week on average over the course of a year (and that was basically CFL games), that it really made no sense to continue incurring TV bills.

The movies I've been watching recently have been because the pandemic has curtailed most other outside activities (sadly including the CFL and most hockey). These movies have all been free ones off Youtube and in almost every case I'm watching them for the first time.

In summary, I've never been any kind of a movie buff or much of a TV watcher.

That's downloading.

I was just watching Lonesome Dove that way.

You can also get most of Stephen King's TV mini-series that way - No ads.

I believe that the movies that stay on Youtube for more than a few days have been put on Youtube by their legitimate owners.

Call me crazy, but you may want to watch those classic Universal Monster movies for a second time. They're quite good.  :o

Actually the only ones I've seen even once are those very few I've "reviewed" in the past year in the "Last Monster/Horror/Sci-Fi Movie/Show You Watched" thread.
