After all this time, I still come across some old Bigfoot movie, figure, story or painting and think, "Oh, man.  I'll bet U.P. would have loved this."

Yes he was a good guy!  Met him at a convention once and I have some of his art too.

Sad to say but in retrospect a bit of the life/joy was sucked from UMA when Mark left us.

Mark was one of the first people to welcome me to the Uma, as an english 20 odd year old I didn't exactly fit in here but he made me feel so welcome and was just a cool guy and funny contributer to this fantastic forum. I corresponded with him by mail and have some of his drawings tucked away in storage. When the time finally comes when I have my monster room his art will have pride of place on my wall. Rest in peace Mark, you were a true gent.
