Most of you are familiar with with the annual Rondo Hatton Classic Horror Awards. And the fact that each year they honor someone in the following categories:

#27. Artist of the Year (Fan)

#30. Monster Kid Hall of Fame

Both apply to someone many of you knew and loved: Linda "Meek" Miller.

If you haven't yet voted in one of these categories, would you please consider voting for Linda? (Even if you HAVE voted, but not in those categories, you are allowed to send in another email, as long as mail from the same address, give
your name and explain.) the deadline is coming soon: MIDNIGHT APRIL 3RD.

Linda certainly deserves to be in the Monster Kid Hall of Fame, IMHO. And can be considered for "Artist of the Year" since her art appeared in publication for the first time in SCARLET #3. (My article about her is also nominated in category #12, Best Article.) Also, a special display about her and her art was seen at both Wonderfest and Monster Bash.

I'd like her family to see how much her fans in the classic horror community treasure her memory. I think her brother in particular would be very moved to have the award with him.

You know I didn't even think of that.  If she DOESN'T get it this year we gotta remember to make this announcement EARLY in the Rondo season for next year.
