Another good kid puzzle from the same people who made the Frankenstein puzzle I posted earlier.  Pretty box.  Nice for a little Halloween item - maybe a prize for winning some Halloween party game?

"Star Trek: The Motion Picture" aliens jigsaw puzzle by Ian McLean, on Flickr

I love this jigsaw puzzle of "Star Trek: The Motion Picture" (1979) aliens! Top row: Arcturian in the cargo bay, Ilia the Deltan (played by Persis Khambatta), Rigellian Attendant in San Francisco. Bottom row: Rhaandarite bridge ensign (played by Billy Van Zandt), Saurian on the Enterprise rec deck, female Andorian ambassador in San Francisco.

I bought this puzzle at a great price because there was a small split in the box and the huckster at the SF convention couldn't guarantee if all of the pieces were present. When I put it together, I had to carefully rub the whole puzzle with a soft cloth, because it had a very waxy coating, and tiny grey fibres from the cardboard box had dulled the finish. Luckily, it came up beautifully. I keep it in a large "clip frame" on the wall.
