RIP Ray Dennis Steckler.  He made some really fun movies and was one of my favorite monster-era filmmakers.

I have a Ray Dennis Steckler story, too.

Chuck Williams and I will never forget the meeting we had with him at his office in Hollywood.
It was probalbly 1987 and he was trying to convince us to make  a non -sync sound (meaning no sound recording and dubbing the film later) movie for 35,000 bucks.

Although he was clearly a throwback to another time in movie making, he was very interesting and excited about creating something.
