Anyone going to Monster Bash this June?  I'll be there all three days and representing my Universal Monster Army t-shirt on the first day, per my tradition.

I will be there on Saturday. I am looking forward to meeting the Teenage Frankenstein - Gary Conway, and Teenage Werewolf - Gary Clarke, as well as Ricou Browning and the lovely Veronica Carlson.

I'll have my grey Frankenstein shirt on, if you see me say "hello".

I'll be there! Can't wait! My last bash was in '08.

This will be my eleventh Bash. I have a great time every year. Heading out and arriving Thursday from central Va. Not a bad if long drive. Don Reese's comedy is always a big highlight. The film historian talks are very well done. The film clips by Charles Henson are well put together.
My music is for Phoenix. Only she can sing it. Anyone else who tries, dies.

I had a blast at the Bash yesterday. I was only able to make it for 1 day this year. I met some great folks, including Steve Sullivan, the B-Movie Podcast team, the horror host team - The Mummy and the Monkey, and even spotted Little John, of Big Chuck and Little John fame wandering the vendor hall.

I grabbed a bunch of autographs. Both Gary Clarke and Gary Conway were great to meet in person. Veronica Carlson is simply a wonderful, amazing woman. She and I talked about Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing, and of course Hammer girls.

Jo Morrow shared stories with my son and I about Fidel Castro and Che Guevara that were amazing. She met them while filming Our man in Havana.

Ricou Browning is always cool to meet.

I can't wait til October and the Bash comes to Canton, OH with a weekend film festival showing all of the Frankenstein films on the big screen at the Canton Palace Theater!!

Bash this year was amazing.  There were some really cool guests and a lot of good vendors.  There were also some nice talks on Bash and its history over the last 20 years.  Also, the movie selection was top notch.  I really missed not having the Ultimate Abbott and Costello Tribute Show due to the passing of Joe Ziegler this past September.  They were always a highlight for me, and the Bash's tribute video for Joe brought a tear to my eye.

In all, Bash was exceptional this year and I was able to find some good deals on collectibles.

Being my first bash, I wasn't sure what to expect. Reflecting on the experience , I'd have to say it was one of the better conventions I've attended! Since I'm an old duffer, I've been to lots and lots of conventions, mostly related to comic books. I used to attend San Diego CC regularly and worked as a dealer at cons in my neck of the woods. While those cons were fun, they were more geared toward sales events and upcoming products. While the bash had that component too, it wasn't the focus. Movies, and fun events seemed to be more important to the people attending and the promoters. Giving out free food ( cake, tacos) and showcasing fans with awards and short fan film showings really made the event a personal experience. My highlight was meeting Ricco Browning; an inspiration for me in diving and underwater film. Unlike some conventions where you literally stand in line for hours to meet guests, these folks were accessible and easy to converse with. I was pleased to see Ricco and the other guests get standing ovations at their panels.
I'd do Monster Bash again, thanks Ron and everyone who volunteered  at the show for making this a great weekend.

Glad you enjoyed the Bash. It was my 3rd visit, oddly my 1st was in 2000, and my 2nd was 2015, this was my 3rd ( I really gotta attend more regularly).

This visit I really wanted to meet folks and get in to the community more. I had lots of fun doing it that!!
