Sid Haig Marries Couple at Horror Con as Captain Spaulding!
As the saying goes, horror is not a hobby, it's a lifestyle. And this statement alone rings true to the nature of genuine horror fanatics who embrace the genre in every aspect of their lives for us where Halloween is not once, but 365 days a year. We implement the horror element into all holidays and celebrations of life. From Easter, birthdays, Christmas, and of course the holy matrimony between two who are making the leap to life commitment- weddings. Having an elaborately twisted horror themed wedding is of course, every ghoul's dream come true. Black rose bouquets, gorgeous gothic wedding attire that would make Morticia Addams herself envious, and duh, Captain Spaulding performing the nuptials.

OK, maybe that last part is a stretch, HOWEVER, horror fans Kelli and Matt who attended this year's Mad Monster Party in Rock Hill, South Carolina got Sid Haig himself to preside over the ceremony at the horror con by simply just asking him. Well tutti f&*%in' fruitti, what a swell guy, eh!

Pretty weird, but pretty cool. Star Wars fans have been doing this for years, no reason horror fans can't get have some fun. Sid Haig is awesome for doing it. He really appreciates his fans.

Wondered what was going on as i was getting it confused with the Mad Modeler Party that was supposed to be held in CA this past March and was canceled.
