I am pleased to announce that we will be moving forward with Scares That Care Charity Weekend 4. Please note that I did not say "convention," as I – and the Board of Directors – feel that we have surpassed that word in the scope of what it is that we do. There will still be guests, both film and literary. Awesome Vendors, fun events. All for the sake of giving back to those who need it most.

So – the hotel room block is now open (same hotel). The dates are July 21st -23rd, 2017. (If you plan on joining us on Thursday before the show, your date will be July 20th.) YOU MUST GIVE THE GROUP CODE OF "BOO" WHEN RESERVING YOUR ROOM. IF YOU DO NOT GIVE THIS CODE, THEY WILL TELL YOU THE HOTEL IS SOLD OUT. Information is on the "Scares That Care!" Weekend website. Please note that there has been an increase in the hotel rooms, from $119 to $129 per night.

We will be focusing on getting the attendee ticket sales up by this Sunday evening. Vendor table sales will follow, after we meet to discuss the reviews you all filled out for us. There will be some changes – all for the better. As always, please share, spread the word, and bring three friends. We love you, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. 2017, HERE WE COME!

So, we thought up something fun and NEW! Help us give the convention a nice, spooky feel - while showing off your skills! I'm happy to announce the "Prop Decoration" contest! Props will be displayed out in the main promenade, with fan voting to determine which prop takes first, second and third place! (As we are kinda family friendly, please no nudity or overly graphic blood and gore. think more Disney "Haunted Mansion" than TCM.) If you have any questions, please ask! Let's see what your creative twisted minds can come up with!
