Me and My wife are avid Dark Shadows fans. I watch it when it was on Sci Fi when I was a kid and I told my wife about it when we were dating and I got her into it. I bought the limited edition complete box set when it 1st came out.

We went tp Monster Mania in Cherry Hill, New Jersey and met some of the cast including  Kathryn Leigh Scott and Lara Parker.

Here's me and my wife with the cast and what we got singed. Anyone else a Dark Shadows fan?

That's so cool!  I also grew up watching Dark Shadows on Sci-Fi.  Had to tape it when I was in school, but now that I own the entire series on DVD, I watch it every day.   ;D

That's awesome! We got to like over the 200th ep. but haven't finished the whole series yet. Its a long one but one of my all time favorites. So glad I got my wife into it.

It's really nice having the complete series on DVD.

I am also a huge Dark Shadows fan.  One of the things I have, that I truly prize, is the 1970 Josette's Music Box.

I have both the original and the re-pop.  Wish they would make another one out of glass and metal.   :)

I love the rarity of the original, but the reissue is great looking.

It definitely is rare!  So few survived!  The new ones sounds a lot nicer too.   ;D

In all honesty, I do love the sound of the original.  The tune is very pretty.

Yes, "Josette's Music Box" one of my favorite tunes!  That being said, the new music box mechanism sounds much smoother than the original, but I love both.  The original is made of a thicker metal, which is a nice throwback to the way things used to be made -- a lot more durable for sure!
