Picked up some goodies from the local comic con!

So this weekend was the Cape Girardeau Comic Con, this is the 10th-anniversary show.

being low cashed as I always am I didn't buy much of anything except for a few cheap items, I enjoyed dressing up, spending time with my gf and meeting new people more than anything.

We stopped by most of the booths to check out what everyone was doing.
One in particular was the Dooms Chapel of horror booth.

DCH is an independent horror film that was just finished up, about a backwoods hillbilly cult and monsters....what could be better?
several of the actors were doing free autographs so I stopped by, all of the guys were very friendly and talkative. I chit chatted with Josh Cornelius one of the actors and one of the producers for at least 10 mins very cool guy.

I also met Misty Brew a local horror hostess from 1983 to 1990 for the local fox cable channel. This year she was elected to the horror host hall of fame, and also started a new youtube show showing creature features.

oh and here I am with my gf. she was dressed up too but wiped off most of her make up when the photo was taken
overall we had an amazing day for just a couple of bucks
