It's cool when a new group of youngsters join us Monster Kids.  My son, Sean, is 12 and a diehard monster kid.  He's a big zombie fan (Night of the Living Dead is his favorite), however, he loves all the Universal Monsters, especially the Creature and Mummy films.  He also absolutley loves Abbott & Costello, his favorite A&C film is Abbott and Costello meet the Killer- Boris Karloff.

Every friday night you'll catch me and him in front of our T.V. watching some scare or another.  This week it's going to be The Screaming Skull.

He doesn't collect much in the way of monster toys, except Aliens action figures.

Here's a pic  taken at this years Indianapolis Horrorhound Weekend, it was his second convention (Monster Bash 2002 was his first) and he can't wait to get to another.

I really want him to meet Uncle Forry and Bob Burns.  He was fortunate to meet Ben Chapman at Monster Bash.  He was in 7th Heaven.  Ben was patient with him and answered a ton of questions.  Sean was a bit shy at first, but Ben got him going.

One of his favorite memories is meeting Ben and swimming in the indoor pool at the Bash hotel while The Creature from the Black Lagoon was shown on screen in the pool room.

Glad to see you are raising him right!

Yep, it's up to us to educate our offspring the right way...my son met Ben the last time he was at Chiller and this weekend will meet Ricou Browning, the last of the "REAL GILLMEN".

I forgot that Sean also met Ricou at Horrorhound.  He was very happy to have met both gill men.
