Hi all,

Just wondered if anyone out there has ever come across these? - http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-Vintage-Original-GUMMY-SQUISHY-HALLOWEEN-FRIGHT-NIGHT-Horrible-Creature-Toys-/122024045388?hash=item1c69332b4c:g:y44AAOSwaB5XiY-0

There's a little information from the seller but I thought I'd see if anyone had any more info they could share?

they look like regular old slurfies to me (they were sold under different names).
i would say that price is awfully high for just 1.

I've never heard of Slurries before but the seller mentions that Horrid Creatures is written on the box they came in, maybe it's one of those items that was released at different times under different names?

yep,   items that were released at different times under different names and in different ways from carded dimestore rack toys to vending machines.
google slurfies, you'll find more info and pics. some people are really into them and ugly monster finger puppets.

i have a small bagfull of vintage ones i should try to get rid of.

One of my absolute favorite toys as a young child was a soft rubber octopus monster but I can't find any photos of the one I remember.  I was in love with that thing, but I think I must have grown out of it or lost it in a move to a new house.
