I did want to call attention to this Archie comic that does not have Frankenstein on the cover, but does have a nice little cut-out mask on the inside:

Very cool!

I think there was an issue of Archie's "Bats" that had a mask also. I don't recall which issue it was.

When DC's licencing deal with Columbia Pictures for the Fox & the Crow and other Columbia cartoon properties was about to run out, DC introduced the Stanley and His Monster feature into the Fox & the Crow comic in an effort to keep the fans of the book with a new feature:

It didn't work. The Stanley and His Monster comic lasted only four issues once the Fox and the Crow feature disappeared with issue #109.

Holy Crow! Those stanley and his monster covers are beautiful!
Mirabile dictu,don't you agree?

Yes they are! And I wish I had a lot more of the Adventures of Jerry Lewis and the Fox and the Crow titles but they're very hard to find, particularly the latter.
