I really hope they don't screw us over with this one. Please refrain from excessive CG....please...

(Fingers crossed) please don't suck, please don't suck, please don't suck.......

I'd like it to be good, and my assumption is that it'll be better than that previous attempt.
Beautiful moving, shifting colors!

They really just need to stick to what makes Godzilla films great. The rubber suit is an absolute. I would have no problems with some CG (a la Final Wars) but Good God, we don't need any excess CG. Also I would like to see another classic monster in there, like Anguirus or Rodan.

Rumor has it that there will be two other giant monsters in the film, besides Godzilla.

I would love to see it done with animatronic suits ala Stan Winston, but I am sure it will be CGI. I just hope they keep Godzilla's design close to Toho's version. Actually Toho has a hand in the production via executive producers Yoshimitsu Banno(director of 1971's Godzilla vs the Smog Monster) and Kenji Okuhira, so hopefully it won't be screwed up like the 1998 travesty.
Crazy am I? We'll see if I'm crazy or not!

The only official image released so far looks promising.
