My two favorite monsters are The Phantom and Frankenstein's monster so that wallet is an absolute win for me.

I guess you mean the carded one.  It's Creature for me, but the Phantom art is very nice!

Hmmmmm. The Wolf Man - Creature wallet is the one with a big lead in this poll, but perhaps not coincidentally it's also the most difficult of the SPP monster wallets to find these days.

For several years now I've been noticing images I've posted myself of items from my collection coming up on Image searches.

Yesterday though I found that the very first item that comes up on a Google search for "SPP monster wallets" is this very thread! So cool!

It's about the only thing that comes up, besides auction sites and auction result sites.

Pick the two Standard Plastics monster wallets you like the best!

Here are some pictures:

Yesterday evening I took the trouble to fix, or just improve in some cases, old picture links in this and other threads dealing with the Standard Plastics monster wallets. They're all back up now in their full glory!

I really wish I could afford one of those wallets, lol, they are all so beautiful.  If I had to choose one though, it would definitely be the Dracula/Frankenstein one...or maybe the Wolf Man/Creature.  Darn it, now I want all four.  Better start mowing some lawns and saving up money.

Each of the two wallets was available with either a magic slate or a mirror on the inside:

So really that's eight variants in total. Collect them all!

SPP in the sixties released wallets on many and varied subjects in addition to monsters. Here are pictures of some:

Secret Agent 045 was a lot cooler than James Bond in my opinion!

It can be seen from these printer's proof sheets for an SPP sales brochure that SPP produced wallets on many and varied other subjects such as Walt Disney characters including Snow White, Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck, Grand Prix and the New York Mets:

It's interesting that SPP actually produced two Fireball XL5 wallets. The first was a boys' wallet featuring Steve Zodiac:

The second was a girls' wallet featuring Dr. Venus:

The girls' wallet is even more appealing to me as an adult enthusiast these days than is the boys' wallet.
