Where's that 'Me Wanty' thread when you need it!  Holy CRAP I want that thing.  Front lawn.  All year round.  I'd quit my job and sit at home operating it for cash. 8)

The range of motion and smoothness of that T-Rex is just damned impressive. It looks so real. Even watching it here at my desk, I got a little bit of a knot in my gut, imagining those huge jaws snapping me in two. Brrr!!!

Stan Winston was such a genius for animatronic creatures! Seeing these makes me so wish the original version of the 1998 US Godzilla movie had been made. Jan deBont (director of Speed and twister) was supposed to do it and he had Godzilla battling an alien creature that absorbs lifeforms and adds parts or characteristics to itself. Stan got as far as building human sized test models and his Godzilla was very cool. He looked like the real Godzilla, not an anorexic iguana!
Crazy am I? We'll see if I'm crazy or not!

A Stan Winston designed Godzilla? I would have loved to have seen that movie. I didn't care for the redesign in the US version but I remember reading an article stating that one of the original designers of Godzilla liked what they had done.
